Friday & Saturday, 28th & 29th January 2022
Welcoming guests at 7 p.m.
Is there an evening that combines haggis, whisky, poetry, fun and laughter? Of course there is. It’s our Burns Supper.
Burns Night celebrations are held all over the world, whether on the exact evening itself or a date as close as possible. Burns Supper is a traditional dinner celebrating the life and work of Robert Burns. He was born in January 1759 and died in July 1796. Mark Chesterfield of The Whisky Experience will guide you through the evening and present an exclusive selection of Scotch Single Malts.
Our special guest on this evening will be Robin Laing, a Scotsman who will tell tales of old Scotland and sing. Robin is also a connoisseur of Scotch whisky and a judge on the executive committee of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society in Edinburgh. (www.robinlaing.com)
Dinner will consist of four courses, one of which is a genuine Scottish haggis, accompanied by Mark’s whisky tasting, live music featuring the bagpipes and poetry. Mark Chesterfield will announce the programme of the evening and guide you through the ceremony.
Put your kilt on and get ready for a traditional, authentic evening of Scots culture.
This joyous evening is something to really look forward to!
