Thanksgiving Buffet

Thanksgiving has been celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November since 1941. It is regarded as the most important family gathering in America and is traditionally marked by a celebratory dinner on Thursday evening. For the vast majority of Americans this means a plump roast turkey taking pride of place on the dinner table. 

This tradition has certainly caught on here, too with starters, accompaniments and desserts reflecting the produce in season: pumpkin, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, nuts, cranberries and much more.
