Togo’s cuisine is often considered to be the best in West Africa. It is simple, yet diverse and flavourful. Many dishes are based on staple foods such as yams, cassava, corn, millet, sweet potatoes or plantain.

If you’ve tasted these foods, you’ll know how good they are. A rich variety of spicy sauces are served with meat, fish, poultry and all kinds of vegetables. Pepper, ginger, onions and chilli are most commonly used, with ingredients such as peanuts, palm oil and tomatoes featuring, too. A hot sauce is frequently served separately so that those who like it hot are not disappointed.

Léocadie Schaller-Gbonkou is proud to present the cuisine of her home country at the Parkhotel restaurant. You can look forward to a delicious, typically West African cuisine.
